Tiaki Hauora is an expansion of health concepts that include naturapathy, rongoa maori, allopathic (safe pharmaceuticals and surgical practice) and the latest technological treatments.
The emphasis is on upholding individual health sovereignty of freedom of choice and co-opting health practitioners who are ethical in their practice who understand the full concept of Tiaki Hauora.
Healing for wellness as opposed to managing sickness, learning through healing – health educators will be available to assist tangata whaiora (health clients) to learn how to take responsibility for their health.
 

* Tiaki Haoura Health Network is a local network of Te Ture Tikanga Health Practitioners operating under He Wakaputanga.
* It operates as part of the four Nu Tireni rohe/regional practitioner groups.
* It is a group of health professionals with a desire to offer patient focused care supported by sovereign jurisdiction.

How do practitioners become part of the Tiaki Haoura Health Network Waitaha ?

* Operate with Te Ture Tikanga, tika [ truthfulness/correctness ], pono [ honor ], aroha [ compassion ].
* Become familiar with our history, constitution & culture so that you understand your lawful constitutional protection.
* Get a Sovereign National Identification Card so that Tangata members have proof of identification.
* Provide details of previous medical practice experience and expertise.
* Register your practice with the Tikanga Trade network so that members can find you.
* If you own the site that your practice operates from, get a Whenua Rangatira Certificate of Title for your protection.
* Operate your practice under He Wakaputanga o Te Rangatira, sovereign Tikanga Maori customary law of Nu Tireni New Zealand.
